OPERATION:
The system is operated by a push button.
Green Button: Start; Red Button: Stop
Two neon lamps indicate the state of the electrical connection.
Red Light - Power Connection; Green Light - Motor Pump running.
The System is designed to run unattended as safety equipments are installed:
a. Overload Relay Circuit with restart button
b. Pressure Cut-out Switch: set at 4.0 kg/cm2
c. Digital Amps and Volts Meter.
e. Hour Meter.
STARTING:
When using the system for the first time or when the pump has been standing idle for a long period, the pump should be filled with liquid of the type to be cleaned. To do this, pour the oil into the pre-filter inlet until it overflows. If the motor has cut-out automatically, the
trip light will come on. The reset button must be pressed and
subsequently the green "ON" button again.
MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE AND VISCOSITY OF OILS BEING CLEANED.
80 Degrees Celsius and 200cst
COLD STARTING:
For oils with a high viscosity, the pressure switches which are fitted as a protection on the system may cut the motor on start-up. Each system is fitted with a pump
by-pass (relief valve), which should be opened to relieve the pressure until normal operating temperatures are reached.
NORMAL RUNNING:
The initial operating pressure with oil at normal temperature and with new filter cartridges should be set at a maximum 3kg, by use of the pump by-pass. For thicker oils, this may mean that the pump by-pass
(relief valve) may have to remain partially open.
CHANGING THE CARTRIDGES:
The cartridges must be changed when the oil pressure reaches 2 bar above normal operating pressure, or when the automatic relief value of the pump has been activated at
4 bar. For cartridge change, please refer to the cartridge change instruction sheet.
CLEANING THE PRE-FILTER (Y-STRAINER):
Systems are fitted with a 650 micron SS Cartridge pre-filter as standard. If there is a drop in the operating pressure, it is likely that the pre-filter is blocked. In any event, the pre-filter should be cleaned at each
Kleenoil cartridge change.
TRANSFER PUMP ACTION:
To use the system as a transfer pump, remove the outlet (filtration) hose and re-connect to the transfer outlet.
